ABOUT US
We first read about the Small
Munsterlander in an article ran in
the Omaha World Herald.  Little did
we know that 6 years later we
would be reading an article in that
very same newpaper about our first
little girl Sebrings Brook.
Our qwest to purchase a Small
Munsterlander began after reading that
article. It took us two year to find
Brook.  Then 7 months later, while on a
trip to Florida, I got a call from Randy
about a male available, so I came home
to arrange a trip to Wisconsin to get
our second addition to the family and
only boy, Amos von Sengpiel.  It took
us 8 years to get our third little baby,
Gunwood's Carolina V Kain.  Now with
the family complete for the time being
we are just enjoying our gifts and the
variety of experiences they each bring
to our lives.
We don't have a kennel but a home.  Our
dogs are family members and are treated in
that manner.  Each knows what is expected
of them and how much they can get away
with.  We enjoy hunting Grouse, Pheasant
and Quail, along with the occasional Deer
and Elk.
When we first got Brook there was no
NAVHDA chapter even close to us so we
joined the South Dakota chapter and
drove there on week-ends to train and
then finally test.  After that experience
Randy decided to start a NAVHDA
chapter in Nebraska. That was 10 years
ago October 1997.  The chapter name
was Heartland Chapter.
